August 5, 2019, Jersey City, NJ – Certified Nurse Aides (CNAs) are vital to the healthcare system, providing essential patient services such as personal hygiene, grooming, vital-signs recording, and bed making. CNAs work under the supervision of registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, physician's assistants, nurse practitioners, and medical doctors in a variety of settings – hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted-living, private long-term care and mental health facilities, educational institutions, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, and more.
